Pakistani media have reported that a heavy clash between unidentified gunmen and the Pakistani military took place in North Waziristan.
According to Pakistani media reports, this Saturday afternoon (September 9), a fierce clash took place between the Pakistani military and an unknown armed group in the North Waziristan region.
It is said that this conflict took place in the Mir Ali region of North Waziristan, Pakistan, and a military officer of this country named “Jamshid Khan” was killed.
Pakistani authorities have expressed concern about the movement of terrorist groups in the regions of North Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, especially the areas bordering Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan has asked the Taliban to fulfil their commitments to fight terrorism.
The government of Pakistan believes that terrorist groups are active in Afghanistan and that they use US and NATO military weapons to make Afghanistan’s neighbouring countries insecure.
