According to sources in Kunar, the Taliban arrested 70 people affiliated with the “Tehrik Taliban Pakistan”, including 15 people who were injured in this arrest.
Sources stated that the Taliban arrested 70 TTP members on September 16 to reassure Pakistan that Afghanistan would not be used “against” this country.
Sources declared that in a joint WhatsApp group consisting of the Afghanistani Taliban and the commanders of the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan, a commander of the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan said through a voice message that the members of the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan involved in the Chitral incident were arrested by the order of Afghanistani Taliban authorities and sent to Pol Charkhi prison.
Sources added that following this audio message, the Pakistani Taliban expressed their strong criticism against this action of the Afghanistani Taliban.
It should be noted that the Afghanistani Taliban had continuously denied the presence of “Tehrik Taliban Pakistan” in Afghanistan, but now the truth has been revealed about something else.
