According to local sources, the district governor of the Taliban in SangTakht and Bandar of Daykundi province, along with his bodyguards, beat and imprisoned a teacher for secretly teaching girls on Tuesday, September 19.
This teacher was released from the custody of the Taliban after several hours of detention with the mediation of local elders, sources stated.
In addition to this, the nomads beat up the people of the Kiti region of this province for a few days.
Also, some time ago, the police chief of Daykundi arrested two people from SangTakht for not paying a $5 million ransom to the nomads.
