According to the report on Swedish TV 4 on Sunday, June 25, one person was killed and three others were injured after the Jetline rollercoaster derailed and people fell from it at Grona Lund amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden.
The manager of this amusement park told TV4 that she was in shock because of this incident.
She said that one person was killed and three others were injured in this incident, and the injured ones were taken to the emergency room by ambulance and helicopter.
Preliminary investigations by the police show that one of the carriages of the aerial train of this park, called Jet Line, went off its track and fell from a height of several metres. The Jetline is 30 metres high, and the speed of its carriages is 90 kilometres per hour.
Grona Lund Park was evacuated from all visitors following this incident, which happened at 11:30 a.m.
The reason for this incident, which is considered a rare event in Sweden, has not yet been determined. Grona Lund amusement park has not had a fatal accident since the 1970s.
