According to reports from local sources, nearly 6,000 students in Kunar province are studying under the scorching sun.
Sources told VOC News that the students in this province do not have a school. Everyone has to study in the open air, in weather above 35 degrees Celsius.
Kunar province is one of the most deprived provinces in Afghanistan and does not have even the smallest welfare facilities. According to reports, this area does not even have a standard health centre to treat its patients in a basic way.
Residents of Shungrei Valley in Sarkanoi County, Kanar, said that the people are poor and cannot afford to build a school. They said that the Taliban have not done anything for the people of this region.
