According to local reports in Laghman province, the Taliban killed the leader of the Laghman Youth Council on July 23.
Toriyali Rostam Khel, the leader of the Chaharbagh Youth Council in Laghman province in eastern Afghanistan, was killed by the Taliban, as reported by sources.
The reports stated that the victim’s coworkers and family claimed that the Taliban were responsible for his death since he was one of the most influential individuals among the young in Laghman.
This comes after the Taliban assassinated a former local police officer in Alingar, Laghman province, just a few days earlier.
