The spokesman of the Taliban governor for Parwan, Hikmatullah Shamim, said that at two o’clock in the afternoon of Tuesday (July 25), severe floods had flooded parts of Siah-Gird and Shinwari districts of Parwan province.
According to Shamim, in addition to the loss of lives and huge financial losses, some roads have also been destroyed.
The spokesman of the Taliban governor for Parwan province added that the statistics of casualties and damages caused by these floods have not been finalised and that there is a possibility that the statistics will increase.
Parwan province has been exposed to severe floods, while several other provinces in the country have a similar situation.
