According to local sources, in Islam Qala, Herat province, two individuals lost their lives as a result of a traffic accident on the route to the White Hotel.
Local sources provided details, stating that this incident occurred on Tuesday, August 29, when a passenger bus that had transported pilgrims for Arbaeen to the Islam Qala border collided with a cargo truck on the way back on the Herat-Islam Qala highway, specifically in the White Hotel area. Two people lost their lives in this accident.
As per the reports from local sources, the passenger bus was empty of passengers during the return journey, and after the collision, only the driver and an assistant were killed in the accident.
