Local sources from Bamyan province said that the Taliban arrested the family members of a young man for running away with a girl.
Sources added that on Thursday, August 31, Taliban forces imprisoned four people, including the mother, sister, and uncles of a young boy named Mehdi, a resident of the village of “Gorwana” in the centre of Bamyan.
According to local sources, this incident happened after Mehdi ran away with a young girl who was his lover for the purpose of marriage.
