The National Examination Committee of Afghanistan had announced that the general results of the Konkur for the year 2023 will be announced on Monday, September 4
In a statement issued on Sunday, September 3rd, the committee stated that the results of the nationwide university entrance exam for the year 2023 will be announced around 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
The Konkur results will be released at a time when girls and women have been deprived of their right to education by the Taliban.
During the twenty years of the Republic, the presence of girls in the Konkur was significant, and they consistently excelled among the top performers in each year’s Konkur. Shamsiya Alizadeh, the top scorer in the 2020 Konkur, is one of the successful examples of the presence of girls in the Konkur examination.
