According to reports from the Taliban and media authorities in Kandahar Province, a charity foundation from Qatar has pledged to construct a 400-bed hospital in Kandahar.
Media sources in Kandahar and Taliban officials in the province stated on Monday, September 3, that a Qatari charity foundation will soon build a 400-bed hospital in Kandahar Province.
According to statements from local Taliban representatives and this media centre, Jamal Qasim Muhammad and Abdul Majid Abdul Qawi Al-Humaidi, two representatives of this foundation, informed Mullah Sherin during their meeting that they will also equip the 350-bed Kandahar Hospital alongside constructing this hospital.
This comes as the Islamic Republic of Iran had previously announced the construction and operation of a hospital named “Qasem Soleimani” in Kandahar Province.
